Refund Policy

We want every author to feel the fee was fair. This policy explains when you can get your money back.
Free consultation
The first consultation call is free, so there is nothing to refund.
Strategy session ($499)
Cancel at least 48 hours before your session for a full refund, or move it to another time at no cost. Once the session has taken place and your written plan has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable.
Launch package and single services
- Before work begins: full refund.
- After work begins: we refund the part of the fee for work not yet started, after deducting work already completed and any costs we have paid on your behalf.
- After the work is delivered: no refund.
Ongoing plan ($999 per month)
The Ongoing plan has a three-month minimum and is billed monthly in advance. After the minimum, you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Months that have already started are not refunded.
What is never refunded by us
- Advertising budgets, which you pay directly to Amazon, BookBub, Meta or other platforms. Any refund of ad spend is a matter between you and that platform.
- Third-party costs paid with your approval, such as promotion site fees, giveaway prizes or review copy postage.
- A refund solely because sales or rankings did not reach a hoped-for level, since results cannot be guaranteed.
If something goes wrong
If we fail to deliver what was agreed in writing, tell us and we will either fix it or refund the affected part of the fee.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@mariauxmedia.com with your name and the service concerned. We will reply within five business days, and approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 14 days.
